Journal Information
Signs and Society is an open-access, multidisciplinary journal in the humanities and social sciences that is devoted to the study of sign processes (or semiosis) in the realms of social action, cognition, and cultural form. Signs and Society was founded collaboratively by the Semiosis Research Center at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and the Department of Anthropology and Graduate Program in Global Studies at Brandeis University, with funding from the National Research Foundation of Korea’s "Humanities Korea" project. The journal is freely available to readers online. Print subscriptions to Signs and Society are available for sale.
