This volume of short works by Swedish theologian Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) was collected and published after his death to make the pieces available to curious readers. Volume 2 contains summaries of the inner meaning of certain Old Testament books, particularly Psalms; discussions of New Church doctrine; essays on the Ten Commandments and marriage; descriptions of his conversations with angels in heaven; and theological extracts from Swedenborg’s personal letters.
