Lynn E. Palermo translated Fabienne Kanor’s Humus, shortlisted for the 2021 National Translation Award and supported by a translation grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. For Seagull Books, she has translated Kanor’s Old World. She is an emerita professor of French studies at Susquehanna University.
