Eugene F. Fama is the Robert R. McCormick Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the author of many influential articles, as well as the books Foundations of Finance and The Theory of Finance (with Merton Miller). Fama’s research on markets and stock prices led him to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013 jointly with Robert Shiller and Lars Peter Hansen.
