Christopher Maurer is professor in and chair of the Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at Boston University. He is editor of García Lorca’s Collected Poems and the author of Fortune’s Favorite Child: The Uneasy Life of Walter Anderson. He has also published extensively on sixteenth-, seventeenth-, and twentieth-century Spanish poetry.
