Black Rose Books is an independent radical press broadening horizons since 1969. Their distinguished list of writers includes key authors in the social sciences and humanities, with particular strength in politics, cultural studies, history, philosophy, sociology, and environmental and urban issues. They support and encourage many first-time authors, as well as having published internationally-renowned thinkers such as Noam Chomsky, Murray Bookchin, George Woodcock, Peter Kropotkin, among many others.
