Joseph Poupin

Joseph Poupin is professor and a researcher at the Naval School of Brest, France. He is a specialist in the tropical crustaceans of Overseas France, including the Éparses Islands, Reunion Island, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia. Joesph Poupin also creates internet faunistic databases with the assistance of the French National Museum of Natural History; the École pratique des hautes études/Center for Island Research and Environmental Observatory (EPHE/CRIOBE) research center of Moorea; the Coral Reef Program for the South Pacific (CRISP); the Jean-Louis Étienne Foundation; the Reunion Island Marine Park; and the Mayotte Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (DAAF).
