Tracks 1-5 were recorded in the Great Hall of the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, and they were produced by Frank Horger. Track 6 was recorded in Smith Memorial Recital Hall at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with Christina Lixandru on violin and Diana Flesner on cello. Tracks 7-8 were recorded in the Chamber Music Hall of the Beethoven-Haus Bonn with the support of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, which has given permission, and they were produced by Martin Pfitzenmeier. The author plays piano on all tracks.
