New Monte Rosa Hut SAC

This stunning volume presents a close-up look at a remarkable building, a new alpine hut built at Monte Rosa, Switzerland, in 2009. Because the site of the building is nearly 9,500 feet above sea level, its design and building required innovative thinking, creative design, and the latest in technology—all made possible through a partnership between ETH Zürich, the Swiss Alpine Club, and outside experts and specialists from a variety of fields.
