Otis A. Singletary (1921-2003) was President Emeritus and Professor of History at the University of Kentucky. He served as Vice President of the American Council on Education, Chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Director of the Job Corps of the Office of Economic Opportunity, and Professor of History at the University of Texas.
