The Cinemathèque, presents four films from the 1940's in support of the release of UW professor David Bordwell's new book The Rhapsodes: How 1940s Critics Changed American Film Culture. Bordwell will be on hand to introduce each screening and will deliver a special presentation on his book before a July 7 screening of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
